This premium White Oak Stair Tread offers a sophisticated, ultra-durable solution for high-end residential and commercial staircase remodeling or new construction. Meticulously milled from top-tier, solid Select and Better Grade American White Oak, this custom wooden step showcases the wood species’ characteristic tight, straight grain patterns, minimal mineral streaks, and a beautiful light tan to medium brown natural color profile. Measuring 40 inches in length, 11 inches in depth, and a substantial 1 inch in thickness, each tread is engineered to provide an incredibly rigid, deflection-free platform under heavy foot traffic.

To ensure long-term structural integrity and prevent natural warping, cupping, or twisting, the treads are manufactured using advanced edge-glued stave construction techniques. This method distributes internal wood tensions evenly while presenting a visually seamless, high-grade face appearance. The front working edge features a precision-milled profile that enhances safety and comfort, while the remaining sides are cleanly squared for exact alignment against stair risers and stringers. Left un-finished by default, the finely sanded raw surface easily accepts a wide variety of stains, polyurethanes, or natural oils, allowing for a precise match with existing hardwood floors.
